When do I convert a Lead to a Contact or Account in Salesforce?

Before we start the process of converting a Lead to a Contact or Account in Salesforce, we need to first qualify the Lead with a few questions.

  1. Do we completely understand what the customer needs?
  2. Can we offer a product that will meet the needs of the customer ?
  3. Does the customer have a reasonable good appetite to buy the product?
  4. Does the customer have the financial resources to buy the product?
  5. Is the customer ready to buy the product?
If the answer is yes to all the above qualifying questions, then we are ready to convert the Lead to a Contact or Account.
